So should I use this procedure?
Lan-Freeze issue This is well known and should be fixed in Release V.2. For now you can use the cpus=1 option at boot load, or permanently put it in the bootloader: sudo nano /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist And replace the current string with this one: <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>-v -legacy cpus=1</string> If your board has got 2 LAN Ports, then do not use the nForce one. Install the proper drivers for your second Port, for example Marvell Yukon, and use it instead of nForce LAN. Also delete forcedeth.kext after you installed the drivers. This will fix the Problem. Also you can consider using Wi-Fi, which works as well. |

I used this string: -v cpus=2 platform=x86pc
Is good? |

-v -legacy cpus=1
^ These flags will only use one core instead of Dual Core, and it will fix the LAN Problem for Rev.1. You don't have another port other than nForce LAN on your Board, don't you? It'd work without freezes. Also, If you were using Wi-Fi, there wouldn't be any freezes either. |

-v -legacy cpus=1
Put the above kernel flags into your Boot.plist, to automatically set them. If you don't know how to do it, check this tutorial -> http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=16734 <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>-v -legacy cpus=1</string> Then reboot without setting any additional flags, and try to download some files... This is really just a temporary solution, I don't think that you only want to use one core instead of two in the long run? Greetings 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean.
