Finally through persistence & research I got QE/CI working on my graphics card through editing kexts in windows using Transmac program. After installing Nvinject on your mac you have to boot into windows & use Transmac program to copy these kexts to windows, Geforce.kext, NVDAResman.kext, NVinject.kext, NVDANV10Hal.kext, NVDANV20Hal.kext, NVDANV30Hal.kext, NVDANV40Hal.kext, NVDANV50Hal.kext. Then use notebook to edit the info.plist file in each of the kexts. You must look for <string>0x000fff& amp, 0x00defff& amp</string> (there can be alot of device id's in there) & delete all in between <string> & </string> then insert you device ID in there, mine was 00ce10de. Do this for all 8 kexts. Then delete the original kexts from mac using Transmac & reboot into your mac. Once mac is running again go to your windows drive to your program files folder & find Transmac. Go into Transmac then temp folder & there will be your edited kexts. Copy & paste them to your /System/Library/Extensions folder on your mac. You will then get messages saying that these kexts aren't installed properly, just click ok to make them go away. Then you have to open a Terminal from your Utilities & type sudo chown -R 0:0 /System/Library/Extensions/Nvinject.kext , hit enter & type your password. Then type sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/Nvinject.kext & hit enter. Do these 2 commands for each of the 8 kexts, then reboot & you should have QE/CI working, I did. This should work for all Nvidia FX Quadro cards providing you insert the right device ID in the info.plist in these 8 kexts. Goodluck & enjoy your Mac.

All your device Id's will end in 10de as this is the nvidia part of the id, so as long as you enter your cards id in front of 10de where I have explained in the above comment.Hope this helps.

Didn't work for me. I tried this method and another with Plist edit pro-same results.ID of graphic card added to all files but can get only resolution support no CI/QE. The difference Nvinject 0.2.0 and 0.1.5 is that I can get name of the card in System profiler(Nvinject 0.1.5). Nvinject 0.1.5 or 0.2.0 works fine with full CI/QE on Jas 10.4.8 but not on Leo 10.5.2 rev2. What can I try next? Thanks

I've just stop all attempts to activate CI/QE for Nvidia Quadro fx3400 at the moment and installed Nvidia 7300gt. It started support CI/QE on my system after changing device id for NVDANV30Hal.kext, NVDA40Hal.Kext, NVDAResman.kext, Geforce, Nvinject 0.2.0 via Plist edit pro and repairing permissions. The problems currently exist for Qadro series cards on Leo.

for your card do this
Download NVinject.kext from http://nvinject.free.fr/downloads.php vers 0.2.1 (!!! with 0.2.0 does not work) and drop it in: /System/Library/Extensions/NVinject.kext
3. Goto Terminal and run the lines below:
sudo chown -R 0:0 /System/Library/Extensions/NVinject.kext
sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/NVinject.kext
4. Reboot the system (don't worry if the system don't restart himself, just reset and reboot if the case)
5. Check if the new driver is installed (NVinject.kext vers. 0.2.1)
6. Download Nvidia Installer V2.0 Punk92 from http://www.mediafire.com/?5sibmlxdghj and install it then reboot.
7. This is it! I hope it worked for you

repair your permissions
use kext helper it is found on insanleymac
than find the kext in the extensions folder that is causing the problem
it should tell you the name of the file when you startup
drop and drag that into kext helper put your password in and click easy install reboot
