DSDT for A8N-SLI Premium SLEEP Working!!

Hello,
This is the dsdt.dsl I have touched for my loved a8n-sli premium.
With some work I got Sleep working.
Regards.

EDIT July 27 2010 : Updated Fixed USB (now OHCI and EHCI USB works)...and sleeps...and wakes
NVIDIA Card detected thru DSDT. (mine is 7600gs) just change the right values.
Here you know how to get the right values
http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/...-graphics.html
Some cosmetic changes on device names to match real macs

It sleeps automaticaly based on your energy savings setings.
Even it wakes when I click my mighty bluetooth mouse, using a non supported dongle

To do Bluetooth stuff
Edit IOBluetoothFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/*/Contents/info.plist/IOKitPersonalities
Where * means BroadcomUSBBluetoothHCIControl, CSRUSBBluetoothHCIControl, AppleUSBBluetoothHCIControl what ever is your dongle chipset.
Create a new entry with your vendor id and product id. Clear caches and you are done.

No graphics and no other improvements yet. But there is a lot of room.
EDIT: Go to the first post: Graphics added.
If you want sleep please install sleepenabler 10.6.4 but configure it for your SL version.
Also I have a bluetooth dongle. and my apple migthy mouse and keyboard starts instantly after wake, like a mac. I can't belive it. I am in love with this motherboard.

CPU: AMD Opteron 165 @2.0Ghz - Motherboard: ASUS A8N-SLI Premium - AppleNforceata64 by ANV - RAM: 4 GB DDR 400Mhz Audio: ALC850 (AppleAC97Audio64 by sluphide) Video: MSI nVidia GeForce 7600GS 256Mb (0x0392) QE & CI from Chameleon 2 RC4 Ethernet: SKGE64 OS: Snow Leopard 10.6.2 32bits all kexts 64 bits. Sleep working. 4 Disks Two mirrored.

There you go.
USB fixed (both OHCI and EHCI working)
NVIDIA Card injected thru DSDT and detected.

You just have to change the NVIDIA parameters for your card (NVCAP) and names.
EDIT: all data in first post.
Regards

Howdy,

Any chance you'd be able to help me add my GTS 250 512MB to my dsdt for my ASUS P7P55D-LE?

Read this post, is easy to modify the dsdt, I know my motherboard and have access to info, that I don't have with yours.

I really wouldn't remove the irq from RTC in your dsdt, as this will cause problems with clocks, graphics, mouse tracking etc.

This fix is only needed for enabling hpet on intel boards, not Nvidia/AMD afaik

You'll find your system is alot smoother when you retain the orignal irq assignment on the RTC device

Thanks for your gfx0 section, it worked on an old agp board!!

Cheers,

LS
