Hello all,

after a few weeks of installing and reinstalling i finaly have full resolution with QE/CI working but only in 32bit mode i think Among other things there is the Atheros WiFi that doesnt have a kext, so i was wondering if i could install some other atheros kext, lets say from 5000 series ( i have AR9 series) and write down my device id? Also the sound: Terrible with lagging and scratch noises...unusable the audio chip is ALC662, So if anyone can point me in the right direction would be nice or if someone needs help on installing 10.6 on asus with the new nvidia cards please feel free to ask,

Have K50in followed your instructions with zip file to boot from usb but after install boot freezes at
NTFS volume name volume 3.1
then hangs there
