The über cool-> Acer Gemstone Laptop Knowledge Base <-a place to catalogue HW info
As title indicates,
This thread will NOT answer questions about install procedures. Also avoid post install questions, unless of course, it is related to topic. So forget about VoodooHDA, think DSDT with vanilla AppleHDA It was created for future reference, and to aid the Gemstone users in current/future install quirks. From graphic strings to audio codec dumps, from ethernet to the moon ! The goal is to achieve real macbook pro clone status! True with EFI partition and fixed DSDT ? You get the idea. This first post to contain all info, the rest is discussion on how to obtain even more info! I will keep this updated as best as I can, but I strongly encourage all Acer Gemstone users to contribute.
