"AppleNForceATA::Free" error [UPDATE] MOBO may be getting sent for repairs

Well this is a new one. I updated to 10.5.8 and everything has been running fine. The computer has been on for a week or two since its first restart after the update. I had a brown out and now Its hanging on "AppleNForceATA::Free" I hear the drive stall as it does when it sleeps and then nothing.

I restored the drive to a second backup drive and I get the same error. I am able to boot Windows on a third drive so Im starting to rule out hardware. Ive check my BIOS and the settings are still firm.

I have swapped out the AppleNForceATA.kext for a backup copy and then tried the test AppleNForceATA.kext I do not see anything installed in Extensions that may be causing problems but who knows.

I figured Id see if you guys had seen this before.

[UPDATE] Scratch that

Im having intermittent hardware related issues from the power surge. Im sending it back to the factory.
