iATKOS Help!

i installed mac os x86 the iatkos version. I installed by following the directions many many times. Every single time I reboot from the install nothing happens. It loads with the Chameleon loader and reboots. Every Single Time. I have tried many different options. I need help.

I have windows 7, but I want to install mac os x86 on a different HD. Its on HD.

Any Help would be grateful. Thank You.

We'd be able to help a little better if you offered us some system specs. What hardware is in the machine you're trying to run iAtkos on?

At Customize under Kernel there was the choice between "9.7.0 voodoo" and "9.5.0 voodoo" did you select one of those?
If not try to reinstall and select one (!) of them or if you already did so before try the other one.

I got everything installed correctly. Thank You.

My one other question is where could I find drivers for my video card or some how change the resolution so it looks better?

My Video Card is NVIDIA GeForce 6800 XT.

When you were installing you had the option under drivers to use the nVidia EFI driver. You should have selected that.

You can still install that driver. Insert the install disc and boot from it. Go through the install process. But this time under the customize DESELECT everything, except the nVidia EFI driver. Run the install process, reboot when completed, and presto! Your video drivers should be working. You'll want to download something called "OSX86 Tools" and enable the Quartz system. This will improve your graphics experience.
