sigmatel HD audio
Hello, I have a Dell XPS 400 with everything working except for my sigmatel hd audio. this is onboard sound, and i have tried the azalia audio. in output list in audio settings, there are no outputs. any help would be nice, i'd like some sound. i remember there was a patcher program in 10.4.10, but i don't know if that is still around/still works in 10.5.6

you don't even know...
 Your machine is the same thing as mine... perfect, except the sound.  PLEASE IF YOU HEAR ANYTHING OR FIX YOU SOUND LET ME KNOW as I will do the same. I have spent countless hours on this issue.-usahockey7

Try VoodooHDA, easiest one to get audio working, needs a clean system with no extra/modded audio kexts installed.
