voodoo kernal panic

Hi all,

I've just downloaded, burned and tried iPC 1.5.6 ppf6

However I got a voodoo kernal panic at boot up.
I really do not know what I can do about it..

If anyone can help me out I would be forever great full

thanks a ton in advance,
Jason.

I get that same one, with the IOPCIFamily.kext as the culprit, it happens only sporatically maybe 1 out of every 5 or 6 startups and restarting nearly always results in a clean boot for me at least. Darned if I know what causes it but if anyone has any insight I would love to hear it.

hello to all.
i have the same problem as spiritonline when installing iPC OSx86 Universal 10.5.6 PPF5 Final on my computer (specs in my signature).
the install disk seems to be ok, the MD5 is the same and i burned the disk in slow speed
i tried some boot flags: -x ; -s ; -f ; platform=ACPI|86PC without success
here is what the log keep telling me (and what im not sure to understand)
Code:
BSD root: disk2S2, major 14, minor 17
hfs_swap_BTNode: invalid node kind (122)
node=0 fileID=3 volume= device=root_device

HFS: Runtime corruption detected on , fsck will be forced on next mount.

there are a lot of topics about this problem, and so few solutions. in my opinion the solution must be quite simple, but i cant figure it out.
i will try another distro like iATKOS v7 or iDeneb v1.x but if the problem come from hardware configuration, it wont do much.
thanks for your help.
