10.6.4 keeping crash Mac Os X EVGA Nforce 680i SLI

I have been research all over sites and none of it. I am have issues keep crash " please hold button for restart or power off " with no errors shows, nothing find in logs. whenever I am doing on FCP render long loading *crash* and other games long loading *crash* and installing if more than 700mb *crash* and if download torrent more than 2.0mbps for like 5 min *crash* If i don't touch of them, it's fine running Avi movie, Hulu and youtube no problem, I am think its come from hardware issues or else ? I still have no idea whats cause. I hope someone is have same issues and solve this. If you need to know Kext what I have it on my list, or whatever you need. I will post it to here.

Applenofrceata needs to be patched to aloow more then 3GB ram, here you go.

Ah i see, that's really trick to me. I will tryin that right away. I will let ya know if it's work or not.

Update: Kexthelper - it seem to be ok system and fast boot up. I haven't tired it FCP and so on, I will let you know.

Second Update : it didn't get better, still crash when i play on the games. any idea ?

i just found it out about evga nforce 680i sli not work with osx86.

which kernel do you use? and what bootloader?

CPU: AMD Athlon 3800+ X2
Motherboard: Asus A8N-SLI
Ram: 2 Gb DDR
Video: PNY Nvidia 9800GT
OS: 10.5.8, 10.6.2, Windows 7

I believe its PCI E 10.6 or 10.5.

I am put up Attach PDF copy off from my Mac Spec list info. I hope it will help you in any how.

Same problem...

I have the same mobo as you. The only way I've been stable is by using only 2 1GB sticks of RAM.

What method did you use to install the OS? I used leohazard's latest DVD build, but is there a better way?
