Kernel Panic/Freezing Issues

Hello, this is my first post on InfiniteMac.
Well, I installed Snow Leopard via Nawcom's Modcd a few days ago, and have had a few issues.

1. When I boot up, it tells me I need to restart my computer. I'm not sure what is causing this. I have to boot via the ModCd for it to work.

2. If I leave my computer unattended for more than maybr 20-30 minutes at a time, it will freeze up on me, and I have to restart.

Sorry if the answers are obvious things, I'm new to OSX86, and my prior Google searching didn't prove too useful
Thanks! :P

Boot with -v, if you get an kernel panic you will get the panic on the screen, so you can read what the kernel paic causes.
