Kernel Panic on 10.6.2 Install !!!!!

Tried OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.2 Patched DVD for Intel-AMD by Hazard... It installed fine, used 'Legacy Kernel' but after installation while OS X boots up I get "Debugger called <double panic>" message after loading Apple HDA & TMCey driver or something like that I'm not exactly sure....

But when I reboot the machine I get a CMOS checksum error after the POST !!!!!!

Any suggestions ????

System Spec.
GA-G31M-ES2L(Mobo)
Intel PentiumD 820 (CPU)
2GB 667MHz DDR2 (Transcend)

Snow leopard can have different effect to all people's BIOS, so I'm not sure about the checksum error.

Please could you post an image of this KP? You haven't given us much info here.

You could try booting up with -s and when it's loaded, if the problem is affiliated with AppleHDA
Code:
mount -uw /
rm -Rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext
exit
and then see if the machine boots.

My Specs
System: Custom Built
Mobo: ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3
OS:Mac OS X MountainLion 10.8.2 & Windows 7 Ultimate x64
CPU: Intel Core i7 2600k @ 4.2GHz
Memory: 16GB DDR3 XMS3 1600MHz
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 6870 1GB

Problem Solved

Thanks for all your help ...

The CMOS bug gets solved after installing Legacy AppleRTC.kext and no kernel panic on legacy kernel .....
