Hello all,
I have decided to install a retail version of Snow Leopard by using EmpireEFI (thanks to prasys for this package). But when i tryed to use it, i faced "waitng for boot device" problem, because my motherboard chipset wasn't supported. So i get a ATI ATA Driver optimized for Snow Leopard created by andyvand from http://www.infinitemac.com/f36/ati-ata-driver-optimized-for-snow-leopard-t4441/ and added it to Empire EFI package.
I have tested image on my hardware (in signature) and successfully get to install... errr... black screen. :) Here i discover that HD3850 is not supported. But image was created and if you want to install retail Snow Leopard on Phenom on motherboard with SB600 you mind find this image useful.

P.S: no kernel panic - no waiting for boot device
