Hello, I am having lots of problems with Zephyroth's 10.5.2 for AMD.
First problem:
When I don't boot the DVD with -v or -x it appears an apple logo and it stays there forever...
Here is an image: http://img369.imageshack.us/img369/6364/issueffld6.jpg
It doesn't have the loading circle as you can notice.
Second problem:
When I boot with -v it stays there forever, the last code it says in the black screen is:
ACPI_SMC_CtrlLoop : : iniyCPUCtrlLoop - pmCPUControl (PMIOCSETPSTATETABLE) returned 0x42fcf00

My computer:
My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite A215-S4767,
SSE 3
it has 2 gb ram,
AMD turion 64x2 Dual Core Mobile Technology,
250 gb HDD + 80 gb HDD (external),
ATI Radeon X1200,
54g Atherols Wi-Fi (802.11b/g); 10/100 Ethernet; 4 USB, 1 FireWire, 1 VGA,
1 S-Video, 1 ExpressCard 34/54. 5-in-1 memory card reader,

Any suggestions???
Thanks everyone...

check your bios settings, you may need to turn off the cool and quiet type acpi speed step system, don't worry though as it is software controlled now

be aware that Mac OSX is NOT written for AMD processors, thus everything is Intel's way. =)

Have you installed recent ToH kernel (in the customize section of installer)? That one did enable Cool&Quiet for my Thurion TL-52

VyperX. Mac osx has been hacked by the osx86 community to work with AMD systems. And if you have the same A215 that I have, the only option you have comparable to the cool and quiet technology is the Dynamic Cpu setting. You should set it to limited.
It would seem as you are a bit new to the OSX86 project. Have you visited the Wiki? I think it may answer some of your questions.
