If I can justify it for work purposes. I tether to a 12" Powerbook for all my location photo shoots. Its showing its age. I assume they will deprive it of any USB ports. I really don't understand that mentality. I managed to get a few more years out of the powerbook by purchasing a PCMCIA USB 2.0 card to tether to some of the newer cameras that do not have firewire. We considered a new macbook this year. I really didn't take notice in the past but it appears that only the most expensive 17" pro model comes with an express card port.

Well that is enough of my rants. I am sure that only good things can come out of this kind of release.
