QuickTime X

QuickTime X

So in the newer Snow Leopard builds from the Internet, a new feature is always bestowed upon us, in this case; QuickTime X.

Like Mac OS "X", this is QuickTime "X" - Version 10.

QuickTime X has many more features and improvements since v7 such as:

The Ability to produce movies and screen recordings:

A Newer, easier way to watch what you want to:

Even the ability to Trim movies

All these images were taken on my HACKINTOSH!

So overall QuickTime X looks like a good piece of sotware, but what do you think of these new looks and features?

Hmm, i wonder if it'll be possible to update to X on 10.5. Anyway - it looks nice. I like the design, but the logo suc..... New functions like screen-recording or trimming the video look quite useful. Well, im definitely looking forward to it, as well as snow leo.

No I don't think it will be possible, compiled and hard coded for Snow Leo only :/

Well, that's no problem i guess. Snow Leo will be only 29$ for all Leo users, and if it's possible to run it on PC now - it surely be possible t get it while it's out. Anyway, for a little offtop - how does 10.6 work on Your PC ? is it stable ?

Yup, haven't had too much trouble with it. The only problem I have encountered is the Audio KP'ing on me. So I have to resort to VoodooHDA, then it all works

It is extremely stable indeed

.::EDIT::.

There is another problem.. for some strange reason the BIOS settings are restored to factory defaults when booting SL. I think it could be the kernel doing that
