and when you run spdisplaysreporter you get a KP as well? (they both point to the same thing... System profiler uses this to gather the info...
hmm. Let me do a little more digging. I'll be back to edit later. ![]() |

I've wrote earlier about my unsuccessful preparation for 10.5.6 installation. I've tried once more
![]() The Leopard seems to fly with 10.5.6, really faster. However only for a while. After shutting down the computer or after certain reboot (I don't know really what triggers it) I don't have internet connection (even so ethernet connection is "connected") and computer is very slow (operations and onscreen visual changes) Anyone knows what could be the problem? Now I've reinstalled 10.5.6 on top of existing 10.5.6 and everything is ok as before, but for how long... I've noticed this problem also on my testing partition. It is said that Voodoo kernel disables appleintelcpumanagement kext and don't steal mac kexts. However I see them in my extensions folder. Could this trigger the problem? I also see a message in system profiler (more info) where general info about computer is retrieved "there was an error retrieving info..." or something. But this doesn't bother me if not related to the problem described above. Any ideas? Last edited by Reinekis; 01-12-2009 at 11:19 AM. |
