8600GT Problems!

Hello everybody,
I don't know a ton about osx86 but I have been coming so close to getting Leopard up and running on my pc. So far I have managed to install and get most everything working with Leo4All 4.1 for AMD (10.5.4). The only problem I have been having is with my graphics card. I have tried nvinstaller, nvinject, efi strings, nvdarwin, nvkush and just about every fix I have heard of. None of these kexts or drivers have allowed me to change my resolution or added QE/CI. I would love to get this working but need some expert advice.

Thank you, Colton

Specs:
BFG 8600GT 512mb (dual dvi-in)
AMD Athlon x2 5000+
nForce 430 MCP61
Realtek HD Audio
2GB memory
TEW-424UB Wireless

I tried the universal installer and then the nvinject 512 and it gave me a black screen on reboot.

Hi Xiloa,

8600GT, as far as i know, doesn't require any other drivers than original apple's. All you need is a proper EFI string in com.apple.boot.plist or add it to dsdt.

Yeah I've tried to get the EFI string working. System profiler lists my card and 512 memory but the QE is "not supported" and I can't change my res. What's dsdt?

Thanks

Edit: I've used EFI strings in both OSX86 tools and EFI Studio for the 8600gt, even tried a custom one and none enabled QE
