8800GTS - Unsupported or my noobness?

Well firstly, Hi there, this is my first post on InfiniteMac.

I have recently installed Zephyroth's 10.5.2 distribution and installed it on my AMD machine. I have an 8800GTS graphics card which seemed to work brilliantly with the NVinject package. I have now updated to 10.5.8 and my graphics seem to be incredibly laggy! Which has led me to believe that my drivers are obviously not doing what they should.

For example: opening a stack is awfully laggy and running a screensaver is terrible.

I have tried EFI Studio and reloading the NVinject kext.

Apart from this issue all of my other hardware has either worked out of the box or has required little amount of work.

Hopefully someone hear can help me

Maybe you should setup a GFX String for your 8800 GTS.
You can do this easily with EFIStudio and remove NVinject.kext, and it should fix the laggy graphics.
