ALC 662 ! urgent help!
Ok guys, I'm having problems with ALC662 under SnowLeopard. I'm using 10.6.7 with the original kernel and almost a clean install. My Motherboard is P5LD2-X, I have tried a lot of kexts and voodooHDA is not working for me, the only that partially worked of Voodoo causes me a System Freeze (not KernelPanic) and I've downloaded an HDAenabler on kexts.org that make ALC 662 detectable on SysProfiler perfectly but was not working any sound and was not detectable on Audio Preferences!
Guys sorry for my bad english and I don't know that to do... Any way to get this last HDAenabler working ??? I'd really like to show info on sys profiler and the name of the file in Kexts.org was ALC662.pkg PS: I don't know how to do this taruga's patch... yes I'm really noob, and im posting the sys profiler info here PS2: my SATA card name is not showing if anyone here know how to fix it show me Thanks guys, really appreciate it |

I have also the alc662. You can use it with VoodooHDA but it's noisy and you will not be happy with this. Buy an usb soundcard and you have no problems.
Something like this - http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/UCA202.aspx Asus P5QL-Pro Core2Quad Q8200 RAM: Kingston 6GB DDR2 667 nVidia 9400 GT Dual Monitors at 1440x900 OS X 10.7.2 M-Audio Delta 66 with Omni I/O LAN: Realtek8102EL (works) |

Yeah, thanks for helping me man but Voodooo gives me a total system freeze. Sometimes when I open itunes system stop to respond and if I open iTunes with skype open too.
There is no way to get this HDA enabler working ?? Its perfectly detected on System profiler but no sound =/ 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. |
