Hi Andy and All, I tried your kernel and as you said it boots much faster than others, but I does not solve my Shutdown/Restart KPs.
If I boot with a vanilla kernel with cpus=1 (the only way to not get kp) Shutdown/Restart works. But when I boot with any Voodoo 9.X Stock or Modded, I'm able to boot without the cpus=1 flag but I get KP at Shutdown/Restart. After booting with your kernel I started to see this line while booting: "macmodel" boot argument not found, Mac model set as "MacBookPro5,1" I don't know if it's related to VoodooHDA or the kernel, but I'm sure that it appears only with AnV9.8. Hey Andy,
Any luck in getting a fix for more than 4 gigs of RAM and AMD? I really hate having to use maxmem=4096 when I have 8 gigs at my disposal. Thanks. I'm running iPC 10.5.6 upgrade to iDeneb Combo 10.5.8 on a AMD X2 ATHLON MOBO ECS Nettle Chipset NVIDIA MCP61 2GB RAM 8600GT Thanks in advance for any help or tipo you provide me. Best |

Hi Andy;
Do you think that the breakpoints issue I mentioned above can be fixed on Snow? Best AMD X2 ATHLON 64 MOBO ECS Nettle2 Chipset NVIDIA MCP61 4GB RAM 8600GT ECS 1GB |

Thanks Andy...please, do you know any kernel that I could use to have breakpoints resource on 10.5.X series over AMD?
