@man_of_the_oak: check first page for the needed kexts in Extra folder
@ad_47incv: i would remove the NVEnabler and use Chameleon`s graphic enabler, as for the sleepenabler, we dont use that anymore, 10.6.3 has a problem with it,

cheers

Ok... I am truly agry at the moment :P Speedstep doesn't work and this is why we have problem with changing CPU frequency when booting with battery + I still cannot get audio to work. flip360 - do you have correct CPU info when you boot with charger unplugged? I mean in 'About this mac'. If yes - I would love you until death if you could upload all the files you use at your 10.6.3 mac incl. SMBIOS, com.apple.boot.plist and others + info where to put it. I am sure that others would appreciate it too since mao_red is also having this problem from what I remember. You are the only one who claims to have a perfect hackintosh, so please help us, it shouldn't take much time :P

how do you change the frequency?
Do you have DSDT?
All the files that are needed (and working) are in the first page of this thread and they are regularly updated, speedstep is working very fine on this hackintosh and yes i have correct info but i dont really care because AS YOU KNOW about this mac is purely cosmetic stuff.
last but not least, i dont claim to have a perfect hackintosh, i know it and so do the other users of this thread

cheers

[quote=uwannacookie;48132]btw, PRO5DIN = K50IN .
i dont think so, asus must changed something, they have so many models of K50 its immpossible to have the same logic board in it

Actually not - 'About this mac' info may tell you that your SpeedStep doesn't work, as it was in my case, until I removed most of kexts that were connected with AppleCPUPowerManagement and edited your version SMBIOS a bit Right now it works but I haven't got sound and I've got problem with locking options in system preferences - when I reboot, it's unlocked >.<"

No, it doesn't What's more - if I try to restart after getting the pc up from sleep - the screen goes black and I need to keep pressing 'turn off' button until it's off. Then I have to add 'Wake=n' to boot, otherwise it will not run. Sleeping works, the same with turning off normally. I've realised sth more...

Is it normal? I set FSB to 800 in SMBIOS and here it's 3200 o.O

did you overclock your processor?
i have the same one but it shows 2.0 GHz, also about the logic board, you said that its nVidia MCP75L where mine is nVidia MCP79 which is used in older macbook`s and its 100% compatible, maybe thats causing the errors you have? i think that not every K50 has the same board :|
