This one (you need to use it before restarting after every big update like 10.6.x):

http://osx86.sojugarden.com/files/Ex...ement.kext.zip

When it boots successfully (and it will if you use only my kexts) you can delete it~

Update bios - this is the first you need to do.

Then - don't try with k50in boot cd since (from what I could see trying to install OSX on a few K50IN laptops) it usually doesn't work. Download iBoot from here: (remember to choose NVIDIA version) http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/

It will boot your retail DVD, at least I hope so, if it doesn't - try to add some flags like: -v, -f etc.

When you install the system - download combo update to 10.6.2, then 10.6.4 - none of them using update tool of Snow Leopard (you can find it on google). Before you start installing it all, run Chameleon installer package and when all updates are installed (it's very important to run it before using them because sometimes it would not run later) use it to put bootloader on your system partition. http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic....&t=208&start=0 (better use RC4)
When all your updates are installed and Chameleon is here, use files I attached to this post, it should work flawlessly. (but before first restart put also http://osx86.sojugarden.com/files/Ex...ement.kext.zip to s/l/e. After the first successful restart you can delete it.

PS Use Kext Utility to rebuild permissions before restarting.

Files: http://uploading.com/files/3a8m43c7/...%2BBackup.zip/

PS2: for working wifi kext - look a few posts up~

It is not, simply use "copy link address" on the link and paste it in browser's address field.

thank you oak

Your advice is nice

But I have a problem....
Maybe it is happened by my misunderstanding.

I try...

1. Boot iBoot and install 10a432. It is 10.6
2. After install, install Chameleon
3. Install 10.6.2 combo update from apple by DMG file.(I didn't click reboot.)
4. Copy /Extra and /S/L/E from your backup link file to HDD.
5. Copy NullCPU......file, too.
6. Click reboot at combo update pkg.

After every steps, I can see chameleon
And I try boot Mac HDD. But it froze...

So I add a flag : -v.
Then display just a sentence. It is...

Loaded HFS+ file : [System/Library/CoreService/SystemVersion.plist] 479 bytes from 42527c0.

Do I mistake? What should I do?

Did you use kext utility before reboot? What is more - you should also install 10.6.4 combo update before restarting and putting my extra etc.

1. Boot iBoot and install 10a432. It is 10.6
2. After install, install Chameleon
3. Install 10.6.2 combo update from apple by DMG file.(I didn't click reboot.) - here you should also install 10.6.4 + don't reboot
4. Copy /Extra and /S/L/E from your backup link file to HDD.
5. Copy NullCPU......file, too.
6. Use Kext utility: http://www.kexts.com/view/129-kext_u...update%29.html
7. Click reboot at combo update pkg.

Um.... I have finished at step 5.
I downloaded Kext Utility, and run. but Kext Utility is frozen.
No window opened.
Just Kext Utility's icon was jumping for about 30 seconds, and stop jumping.

I'm not click reboot at combo update pkg, yet.

maybe I must be waiting with notebook cannot click power off and reboot. for 24hour.

Forgot to mention that it's a good idea to run Kext Utility before but don't type the password before you finish with everything else...

Anyway - try to run it again.
