Hi!
I have a ASUS X5DIN-SX207C - Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 - 15,6" - 6GB DDR2 SDRAM - 500GB HDD - Nvidia MCP75L Chipset - Nvidia G102M 512MB and I could not install osx through the iBoot cause I have more than 4GB of RAM, will it be like this boot? Can I use an external HDD for booting installation? Is Broadcom Wireless BCM94318MPG compatible with OSX? |

@niwlf
You should remove RAM so that it's max. 4GB. You can put it back when your system is working. |

Ok, I will remove 2 Gb only for installing, but is my hardware compatible with this boot? |

Yes, on the Internet I have found that I also have MCP75L while the truth is that I own MCP79, so I believe everything should work. About broadcom - yup, it will work.
I have exactly the same specification besides of broadcom chipset and ram. |

Thx! But... Have you de md5 checksum for Snow Leopard Retail DVD? Because I got Transmac and it says my DMG is corrupted or not compatible, I try with Combo Update 10.6.2 and 10.6.4 and I can read their content.
I'm downloading another Retail ISO. 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. Last edited by niwlf; 09-14-2010 at 01:53 PM. |
