BenQ E2200HD

i am on the look out to buy a new 24 inch monitor is there any that people could recommend to me, i was looking at an Apple Cinema Display but they are SOO expensive! does anyone know why they are so much more expensive other than because they are an apple product?

but yeah all recommendations and reasoning would be great

Cheers

Well, Apple Cinema Display is expensive because it's made from aluminium, i guess it has LED matrix which is expensive, and...it's Apple so it has to be expensive ( i guess it's not really worth the price...but still i'd like to have one ) Anyway, If you need it just for home work, so it doesnt have to be anything special - take a look at BenQ E22HDA, it's 22,5 inch, but has 1920x1080 resolution, VGA, DVI and HDMI inputs, works quite well, looks nice, and in comparison to other brands it's dirt cheap. If you need something better, well, i dont know then

I love the apple (20") cinema display. If you have the money then I'd say its definetly worth it. Just dont let your friends throw CD's at it....

The Apple Cinema Display only has a Mini DisplayPort connector which only works with the new range of macs. Until someone releases an adapter or manufacturers start shipping graphics cards with a DisplayPort interface, you'll have to choose another i'm afraid.

umm i have a slight problem, any help would be absolutely great

the colour profiles on OS X dont seem to change the colour settings on my display, i can change it manually through my display but not through the System Preferences, why is this? i could do it on my old monitor, its just that i want Apple RGB colour profile and i cant seem to get it replicated manually

Thanks
