Boot Time - From POST to Login
I hope this is not the same way have a similar thread. If it have, with due indulgence from our mods please feel free to merge.
Boot time - this is from POST(from the time you push the power on switch) up to the time the desktop, dock and menu bar are completely loaded. Before the storage upgrade, 120Gb 5400 rpm Samsung : 45 to 48 sec After the storage upgrade, 32Gb MLC SSD KingSpec : 38 sec max I got 10 sec boot time improvement from the HDD to SSD and more than 50% faster when opening and loading applications. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v6...t=DSCF7540.flv Hasee W230N iAtkos S3 v2 10.6.3 updated to 10.6.4 via Apple Software Update .
