Broadcom Wireless Issue iPC 10.5.6 ThinkPad T40

I have an IBM ThinkPad T40 with an aftermarket 802.11 b/g Mini pci card from an HP notebook. It uses the Broadcom BCM94306 chipset. I believe its PCI ID is 4324. I have added the Broamcom kext included int he install customizations that adds all the proper strings to the IO80211Family.kext with no luck. I have tried taping over pins 11 and 13 as suggest in another thread to keep the card always on. I am at a loss as to what to try next as everything I have read shows that this card should work just fine. I have applied the no-1802 fix to allow the IBM to boot with a non accepted card installed. The card was working when pulled from another laptop (Dell Insp 8600). On the T40 under OSX, there are no signs of a card being installed in system profiler or under the network preference pane. The wireless card is enabled in the bios.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Also of note is that my wired network card, an Intel Pro/100VE is also not working even with the included patch on the install dvd.

The PCI ID is 4320, 14e4, not 4324 as posted above. Also both cards show up in DPCI Manager so it would seem the system sees them but just isnt loading drivers properly.

I have gotten the wired connection to work be reinstalling from scratch with only the minimum chipset drivers installed, then manually adding the other patches through the os but the wireless still does not work. I know someone out there has to have some insight on this. I have read all the tutorials for this chipset (BRCM4306) but I still do not have working wireless. That is the last thing that isnt working so far.

Thanks
