Darwin says I have a 14mb video card
Hi everyone, I don't really know if this is an issue but since I changed my old 7300gs to a 8400gs 256mb darwin says it's a 14mb VESA 3.0 (NVIDIA)
It really feels much slower than my old 7300, though QE/CI are supported. I don't know if darwin can do that but there must be a reason for my system slow-down. I'm using EFI string but also tried every injector out there, also tried many kernels with the same results. Hope someone knows something about this, It's really annoying.... Thanks in advanced PD: I'm using chameleon updated with netkas PCEFI V9 |

My GeForce 8600GT says 14MB also, but it shouldn't effect performance of your video card.

I don't know if it should affect performance but it's much slower than 7300 and it shouldn't. And the only thing that changed since I switched the video cards was that, so it's a longshot but I got to try everything I can and there ain't much left, tried injectors (all I know), EFI strings (with EFI studio, OSX86Tools and manually) different kernels (10.5.2, 10.5.4 xnu and latest voodoo) and the same result every time.
