I can AGREE with your statment about these people here!

I have talked with people in the forums, private posts, and via E-mail. People have looked up equipment for me. Found drivers, even told me how/where to edit files.

Things have werked. Things havn't werked, I've had options presented.

I'm a noob to OS X, I've lost my edge in Winders (I'm feeling old.) When I was new to Winders, there wern't the forums there are now, and most of the mods were done with a phone pressed to you ear, IF you knew somebody that knew more than you. (RARE) and usually the ones that did help must profit!

Today's society (Don't know if local country, or worldwide) appears to be "I want an answer and I want it NOW (or sooner!)" so people won't RTFM when they can, and actually it CAN be a good thing! I've done stuff on PCs simply because I didn't know "it couldn't be done." Now, I have a wife, and 4 kids, so my experimenting days are limited to "It must be recoverable in less than 10 minutes or less"

OS X is a GREAT OS from what I have been told by several people over the years. Using my G4 was good, until I opened the case. I havn't seen crashes like Winders.

I wants my OS X to boot from the HD, I wants to access my server an the internet. I wants to HEAR my Mac! I'm willing to put some efforts into these wants.

want Want WANT! That is what every noob here has! Its because they don't know how. Experts, PLEASE tolerate the same questions over and over again. 1/2 the time GOOD search phrases are elusive, and even then not always helpfull. As the forums grow, searches give more results and I feel that even assembly lined machines are unique. and all-in-1 answers are not always the rigth ones.

Keep up the good, FRIENDLY work!

Really great attitude. Especially for a n00b on these forums. Why don't you go back where ever you came from and take your attitude with you? People here try to help others. If it is not for you, move along to something that is. No need to make an ass out of yourself.
