Geforce 9500 GT // Dual Screen

Hi there,

I have some issues getting my new geforce 9500 gt to work. By "getting to work" I mean really the dual screen mode. I got 2 x Benq TT2200 HD (1920x1080)

I just explain what happens when my 2nd screen is connected to the card. Snow Leo boots and immediately before the Desktop should come up display no1 looses input, display no2 turns on but stays black.... sometimes blue... sometimes I even keep the mouse pointer in the screen. When I try to connect the screen on the fly the same issue after clicking "detect screens" - sometimes osx crashes even...

I tried to install the card by using efi studio -> geforce 8600 GT. Without success.

What can I do... ?

I know there are ways to install the card proper by using the correct efi string for the card... but this seems so incredible complicated. Is there no easier way - or at least step by step walk-through for idiots like me ?

THANKS IN ADVANCE
Cheers

You can try NVEnabler injector: http://www.projectosx.com/forum/inde...0&hl=nvenabler
You could have a problem with the NVCAP not matching your hardware.
Remember to remove efi strings and other injectors.

Hey Thorazine,

thanks for your tip.

I went through the whole thread and tried my best...

Result is unfortunately now that I have just one resolution (1024x768) in my settings. Plus the DVI connection is still not usable.

Remove any injecter / GFX device property string / DSDT edit for GFX
I am not 100 % sure if I did this step correctly. Is there a guide somewhere?

From where? How I do that?

Sorry to be a pain... I just started with OSX86...

Graphics injectors are other kexts to enable QE/CI, like nvinject, natit, etc. NVEnabler is another one like that, you can install only one of those at a time, if you installed others you have to remove it.
EFI Strings are in com.apple.Boot.plist file, either in /Extra or in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration, if you used EFIStudio or OSX86Tools you may have an entry on those files with "device-properties" and a long string or numbers.
DSDT edits are in a DSDT.aml file in /Extra, used by Chameleon to inject the same properties, if you dont have a file there you should not worry about that for now.
