iTunes 8.0 released

has a iphoto type section and reccomendations on tracks seems quicker on cover flow

Isn't it actually iTunes 8.0 that has been released?

The new visualiser is awesome... even though all they've done is license Magnetosphere. If you guys haven't seen it before you're missing out!

iTunes 8 has to be patched, I created a prepatched AMD version, download link is here:

Another nice free iTunes Plugin is DockArt, it shows the Album cover in the Dock. It has several options.

Say, does the original iTunes virtualizer use so much cpu power like on my machines? In a window of ca. 1300x1024 pixel it needs ca. 50% power. But it's the only one which needs so much.
