my first haskintosh overclocking -fun
Hi
Soon after i finished installig my first hackintosh it came to me that as a pc running win7 it was overclocked so i should try to overclocki it as a hackintosh too. my asus p5k crosflashed to p5kr and c2d E4500 with a arctic cooling system got from 2.2 to 2.76 and a funny thing happend after that because now "about my mac" shows 2.66 intel core i5 cpu As cpu optimalization is done i would like to overclock my gf9600gt because i know it can go much faster. Is there a nice and easy way to overclock a nvidia Gpu on a osx system ? Last edited by sandmanpl; 11-17-2010 at 07:47 AM. |

Wow man I can't imagine trying this on a hackintosh. I know people do it and I'm sure there are times it's safe but stability seems to be the goal of most osx86 users. I have no idea if there is an easy way to do this but keep us posted as to how it's going. I'm def curious because I used to overclock my AMDs all the time in winblows.
