Q6600 is detected as a single core

I just installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on a GA-P35 Ds3L / Q6600 / 4gb RAM system; all's well except that the Q6600 is detected as a single core CPU. I had set up Kalyway on my other GA-P35 Ds3L just a couple weeks ago, pretty much identical machine yet it's Q6600 is showing correctly as 4 core. FWIW both are GO step Q6600's OC'd 2.91ghz. I don't recall the Options I chose for the setup, should I re-enter the setup via the kalyway disc and select options I may have overlooked, or can I fix this within the present install?

I didn't select any boot options at all, either on this latest GA-P35 Ds3L rig or when installing Kalyway on the first GA-P35 Ds3L machine. Both machines are identical in every way(mobo/RAM/vid etc) hardware-wise, and BIOS settings are all the same:
Limit CPUID=disabled
No-execute=disabled
C1E=disabled
TM2=disabled
EIST=disabled
ACPI=SI
PME=Enabled
HPET=32 bit

Used same Kalyway disc as well. I did try cpus=1 but there was no effect...

Try this bios setting :

Limit CPUID Max. to 3: [Disabled]
No-Execute Memory Protect: [Enabled]
CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E): [Enabled]
CPU Thermal Monitor 2(TM2): [Enabled]
CPU EIST Function: [Enabled]

Good deal, thanks so much! Quite a few BIOS settings were not correct, after correcting those & and using the -v flage plus "cpus=4" the install is using all cores. I still have to use the 'CPUS=x" argument when rebooting my dual core E6300 rig; I haven't rebooted my quad yet to see if the cpu core seting 'stuck'.
Would using "-f" help, or do I need to Edit the Plist?

Update:
Having gotten thus far, I decided to re-try iAtkos v.7 rather than spend the time applying updates to 10.5.2. iAtkos worked beautifully with the correct BIOS settings, now have 10.5.7 on a couple C2D & CQD rigs. A big thanks to Apple, and to all the dev's plus those who posted with help.
