snow leopard for amd

hello all.

i have used leopard since 10.5.4 in amd phenom,. it was kinda ok, not worked perfectly, got some panics after quick time updates. then when new kernels showed up, and it was good. (but after i tried Ubuntu, Ubuntu was much more faster, but thats different story) anyways, i just wondering is it worth to install snow on amd? things got better since Leopard? or worse? if so any good distros you can recomend? please feel free to discuss this with me

snow works very well for me on amd (except usb2). i use hazard leo, but i tried the install method from this post: http://www.infinitemac.com/f57/amd-s...install-t3727/ and it worked very well. still no usb 2 though overall, snow is a big improvement over leo, so you should try it.

I patched complete /System/Library using Marvin's AMD Utility on my recently build AMD configuration and everything feels just fine.

Installed it using Empire EFI for AMD Processors (Experimental/V1.08 by nawcom) - applied PC_EFI, fakesmc 2.0, "chocolate" Kernel, NullCPUPM & PS2 drivers using myHack installer, and installed AppleNForceATA 1.0.4 by Andyvand manually & everything was ready to be updated to 10.6.2 and beeing adjusted to work allmost properly.
I wouldn't have expected it to be that easy and satistifyable in the result on that configuration.

With hardware in my signature i run SL from Hazard client/server 10.6.2 release perfectly.
I patched library for itunes with Marvin's app... but all the others runs without any problem.
I installed aperture3, iLife09, fusion3, toast10.6 and something else, i must try adobe apps but i don't think will be problems... usb works well too.

I selected these options, i think... because when you try and try sometimes you forget what you did before... then reboot with maxmem=4096 from chameleon cmd.
Was great... the first time from the start of my hackmacs (and i started a pair of osx ago) that i could see install presentation in full resolution with sound...
After i had to patch some cpuid's with Marvin's app...
Thanks to Hazard..
