Be more descriptive, what's the problem/error you're receiving?

Well when I use "Software Update" it does not show the 10.6.1 update , Then when I try to update by manually downloading the Update from Apple it wont let me it says "My drive is not suitable for this Update" or something to that extent

Run "System Profiler" then select "Software" from the left had side list of options. The main window on the right should change are say "System Software Overview:". Copy and paste what it says under that heading here.

I want to know exactly which build you're running. I don't think 10.6.1 will work with non-retail copies (i.e. developer seeds) of the final build.

Either that or you've already installed 10.6.1 and you haven't noticed

Do you know how I could patch the update or force it to update somehow?

I installed this i think- SnowOSX Universal 10.6 GM (10a432) v3.5 Eng (it might be the 3.4?)

I am reinstalling now on my laptop, I am using the GUID partition scheme , The MBR partition map gave me so many problems....

Could this be the problem?

I know nothing about that release. Just because it says "10a432" doesn't mean it's a retail build. As I said before, I think you can only upgrade developer builds using upgrades designed to work with them and aimed at Apple developers. As 10a432 was the build that got turned into retail disks, their weren't anymore upgrades sent out. You've got to remember, 10a432 got released in two flavours, as a developers seed, and as the retail disc.

If your copy is a retail copy, all you can do is suck it and see

You can use Pacifist to extract the files from the package.
