Hi,

I just install my IPC 10.5.6 w/ Voodoo 9.5, after that there is not sound, I can see the id in system profile. It used to be working w/ 10.5.5, can anyone give me a hand.

Asrock Wolfdale1333-D667 R2.0 w/ ALC662 Sound card
EGVA 7600GTX 256md PCI-E video card (DVI)
SATA II 250 HDD
4G Ram

Also system profile show the video card is not support quartz extreme, is that anyway to enable it?

Hi,

Can you see the sound icon @ the top of the screen to the right? if so just go to setting, then sound, and in output select internal speakers... if not working then try with the next option... but if you cant see the sound icon it might be that your sound card is not properly installed.


Regarding the quartz extreme, i have the same issue... i have tried to force to enable it with no success...

I can see the icon on the top of right, I also select the in/out for using internal speaker but still no luck, any idea why?
