Stuck at infinite reboot after successful install (cant even start account creation)
Hi guys I am trying to install Mac OS X Tiger on VMware. I have completed the installation (well the mouse stayed in the top corners, but I used the keyboard to navigate the installation). I installed all the default things and it said Install Successful. The problem is that I can't get in. It goes to the apple logo then restarts. I tried using single user mode and a whole bunch of other switches. I think the last thing it says in verbose mode is "Unsupported device..." and I couldn't catch the rest. Actually I think it said Unsupported something. (I took a guess it said device). I am so close!! I have never used a mac in my life (ok I clicked on the Safari icon in the dock for someone). I'm using a Kalyway CD with Tiger on it. Is there anything I can do? I am going to look at the default install stuff and possibly reinstall.

My favourite way to run Tiger in a Virtual Machine is to use QEMU 0.9.1 + QEMU Accelator driver (kqemu) with 10.4.1 flatimage by deadmoo (look into torrents) - with setting the emulated nic modell to rtl8139 this is quite nice to use setup with allmost anything functionall except sound & graphic accerlation...
