The Sims 3 black screen on GTX260

Hey guys!

I tried editing my signature to include all my hardware, but I couldn't find it in the CP. "/

Anyways, I came here via this thread: http://osx86.net/f19/guide-geforce-g...leopard-t4057/

Looking for a way to fix my black screen issue with The Sims 3. This is a fresh install on my one year old home-built machine. Been running 32-bit XP (ugh!) and finally got 64-bit Snow Leo! (Pretty sure it's running 64-bit).

Here's my build: P55-UD3L, GTX 260, Core i5 750, 4GB DDR3, etc.

So, the game installed well. When I launch it, however, only the sound is audible, and no visual. Also, when I try to force quit, it locks up, forcing me to hard reset the computer. The aforementioned thread's links do not work anymore. So I'm wondering what I need to do! I have topics at InsanelyMac, tonymac, and Hackint0sh, and to no avail.

I installed the NVenabler from MultiBeast. Still nothing.

Still no dice with The Sims 3...
