Actually, my gfx tests are better, except for text.
But still, a latop generally does not compare favorably to a desktop/workstation machine. Particularly graphics and disc are typically not so good in laptops, as your disc scores clearly show. Even at 7200rpm, a laptop disc will usually not match a good desktop disc. It is the biggest bottleneck.
To be honest, I am surprised my MBP scores are so high compared to many desktop machines.
