Need help reseting OSX dock on reboot

Using the crontab, I would like to reset the OSX dock contents on reboot. The machine in question is used a lot throughout the day by multiple people, and things from the dock disappear. Is there a way to save the default configuration (not the one from apple) and have it reload at reboot?

Thanks!

Hi,

The configuration for each users dock is stored in
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist

Just take a copy of it, after you made settings you like & adjust OS X to use this one as replacement.
