Hi All, Using the new 10.5.2 efi DVD, Boot Camp and X11 dont work. Boot Camp says its not supprted on my architecture and X11 just doesnt do anything. Is this the same for other people or have i done something wrong.. I am using 9.2 kernal with Efi, QE/CI is working, everything else seems to be working..

Thanks for any help

Bootcamp only works on real macs, not sure why X11 isn't working for you. Try installing it again.

I have the same problem with X11. During installation customization, I checked X11 option, and the installation went smoothly and the system ran right after reboot. But when I tried X11, looks like nothing happened, although when I open the Console to see the log, it does go thought some procedures about X11. I don't have any error message though.

I will try to reinstall X11. One question: what should I do to reinstall X11? Should I run the installation dvd in Leopard? or should I boot using dvd and reinstall the whole system?

Thanks for any help.

Maybe this would be worth considering?

After installing XQuartz, Gimp still quit unexpectedly for me and so is unusable.

Zeph> Yeah, but other things such as matlab, xfig, and macports seem to work so it's a halfway decent solution...?
