[cite] zephyroth:[/cite]I burned the DVD at 16x without any problems ... Very strange that people who tried to burn it at slow speed managed to fix their problem.
I think it depends alot on the program you use to burn it, i burned a coaster of the original release with toast. I burned another working copy with diskutility. Go figure.

K3B on Linux.

According to what I see on the photo it seems that your copy is not good ... but you're not the only one who experiences this issue.

Mac OS X 10.6.3 • 2.8 GHz Intel Core I7 860 • ASUS P7P55D • 2 GB 2 Ghz DDR3 • ATI RADEON XFX 4890 1GB • 2 x Hitachi 160 GB Serial-ATA • PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-112 • LaCie Desktop Harddrive 750 GB USB

there is another option if you have plenty of disk space and no DVD's. Write the ISO to another partition, flag it bootable and boot the install from it.

Hi!
I install another DVD drive (SATA Lite-On) and, after that, system installation was successfull. I used the DVD disk, which I recorded earlier on BENQ DW1640.
I noticed that on BENQ DW1640 drive the speed of reading was maximum, but on the Lite-On drive DVD disk was reading with minimum speed. May be this is the reason of errors? How can I improve it?
