hi all,
i have a more or less stable 1052 rev1. now i backed up all the installation with TimeMachine and now i wanted to install 1052 rev2. but now, this disc cant find my sata hdd. i have a sb600 motherboard. is the driver gone? what happened with the kext between the 2 revs? can someone help me to inject the right ATI SB600 (and if anyone can, all the other SB200 - SBXXX also) into the Rev2 iso? I want a AIO (ALL IN ONE) Disc for the future. I also want to try Leo4All on my P4 Laptop but it has sb200 and still waiting for root device error can anyone help me with this and the right kext? thnx a lot |

I don't really know what's going wrong with your system. mine has a SB600 and the install went flawless. you have set the SATA mode to AHCI in the BIOS right?

on rev1 was everything ok, no injects needed
on rev2 suddenly there is no support for sb600 changed nothing in bios on ahci |

i seem to have the same problem with rev 2, still waiting for root device error upon trying to install, rev 1 worked fine so i think sb600 must have changed in rev 2. with regard to setting to ahci in bios, this had the same result still waiting for root..will look into how to inject kext into dvd image before burn..

xan: i had 10.5.2 rev.1, now i installed rev.2 on my sb600 chipset. It is the very same as far as i can tell. Ahci mode in Bios and disks are found. I had no problems.

strange, but i didnt use ahci but im going to tweak my XP for ahci and then i will try again.
i also think that leo4all is much more stable/save. will try that before zeph rev2 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. |
