Why did you use the official graphics update it's included on the dvd, its more likely you weren't getting QE from lack of correct ID in kexts

I've tried to fix IDs in GeForce.kext, NVADResman.kext, NVinject and HAL40 one, that got me to native resolution, but still no QE.

mount -uw /
cd /patches
./patcher cpuid-graphics.txt

GFX string didn't help. And I've already tried that patches.zip resulting in kernel panic

After some more googling I've found "leo vid kexts" archive. that kexts do work (QE is working), but there are lots of rendering bugs (menus don't render until the last moment when I close them, dashboard rendering still buggy). I've got OpenGL.framework from the Graphics Update 1.0. I have natit, not nvinject. Any hints?

Hi! I'm new here so forgive my rudeness, but I was wondering, is there a fully functional AMD system configuration?

Like use this MOBO, this CPU, this HDD, this RAM, this OPTICAL and everything works out of the box?

Many different system configurations work out of the box, including mine!

( click my name to see hardware specs )

However, if you want to build a new machine, I highly recommend an Intel Core 2 Quad Machine!

You can purchase that Quad CPU for only $ 254 USD. Not a bad price.

@budala, why don't you visit the customize section of this forum. There are plenty of users that have listed their specifications that work out of the box. =)

I am making a Hackintosh but with Intel it's easy and I've made my configuration but I am thinking about AMD and especially a Phenom and if possible a 690 or a 780 chipset variety :-)
