Okay to sum it up I have an 8800GT 512 BFG that shows native resolution, runs the desktop with all effects flawless, but I can't but the monitor to sleep unplug the monitor or turn it off without it coming back with just a blue screen. I know this is common but I just wanted to know if anyone has an idea how to fix it I've tried installation for both NVinject and Natit both seem to yield the same result, here is one of the popular errors I get on kernel boot up

NVDA:: Starting display(1)
NVDA:: Starting display(1): failed

If anyone has a solution involving any manner I would love to know and appreciated any help offered thanks.

Have you tried removing the injectors and using an EFI string instead? I've had great success with 10.5.2 using that method.
