my install works fine except i have to hav the CD in to boot into leopard if its not it i get the blinking cursor thing
i used MBR boot table should i try GUD

my specs
AMD athlon x64 +5200
nvidia 8800 gts 640mb
2gb ram
sata HD
M2n-sli deluxe mobo

sounds like you are missing your boot loader

leave out steps 4 and 5 for mbr and see if that fixes it


Boot with the DVD and use -s at boot load.

sudo -s
fdisk -e /dev/rdiskX --->(X is the number of your HD, if you have only on its 0)
update
f X --->(X is the number of the partition where you installed Leopard)
w
q
reboot
