We would appreciate your help LohnenNicht, plz post a step-by-step guide for us newbies..

I tried changing my IDE HD connection from master to slave didn't help at all. If I don't use any bootflags
it continues giving errors on "SAM Multimedia error..." , if I use -v -x flags (others as well cpus=1 -legacy platform=x86pc)
then what I got is stuck on line "Darwin Kernel Version 9.1.0: Fri Nov 16 14:50:43; made by ToH:xnu-1228.0.2~1/Build/obj/RELEASE_I386".

That's it, I couldn't do anything else
Can someone plz give me the md5 hash of the iso image of Zephyroth?
Actually I should have asked Zephyroth himself Can you give the md5 plz?

So you didn't have any booting problems? Did you boot without bootflags?
?f so maybe it is because of that you use different CPU (X2 3800+) a dual core one..
No booting problems at all. I don't use any boot flags at all. Maybe the cpu is making the difference. Perhaps your cpu is only SSE2.

md5 of Zeph 10.5.1 ISO is

[cite] damnesiac:[/cite]Same motherboard here and everything went pretty smooth. Didn't have the 1 minute remaining issue or anything like that and I transferred my info from another partition and logged in straight away. I'm using an X2 3800+ with PATA IDE hard drive and Pioneer DVR111 dvd.

My BIOS options are below:

IDE
Sata enabled
Sata raid disabled
Silicon image sata disabled

USB legacy disable

Both LAN enabled
LAN bootrom disabled
Audio auto
Thank you for all that! I've been having USB issues all over the place with this board (A8N32-SLI) and as soon as I set these settings just as you had them, now it's alive!

Many Thanks!

Rob
