Question cannot detect my hard disks?

Hi all, I'm pretty new to OSX86 (about 4 days now) and I tried iATKOS 4.1i (works pretty well), iDeneb v3 (hmmm) and just tried Leo4all v3.
I'm using my Dell M90 (company laptop - don't tell the IS dept ) and installed OSX on a usb hard disk. iATKOS and iDeneb still let me access the laptop's internal harddisk but it is not accessible from Leo ... any idea how come? can I fix this? Kinda need it because my other Mac soft is on the D partition

Next to that, none of the installs bring me sound or WiFi, both being pretty crucial as I want to try out Garageband and need forum access ...
Audio is Sigmatel - something (unclear)
WiFi is Dell 1490 mini card

are there fixes for this and where can I get them?

thanks. all input is welcome

post your system specifications. CPU, Chipsets, etc.

These hardware specifics allow us to better taylor our advice. Thanks.

also when i tried using GarageBand on my Leo4All Hackintosh it installed but it kept crashing and never actually properly launched, so if this is your only reason for going to Hack i suggest you do some more research about GarageBand on Hackintosh before you go to all the effort of trying it out

Just some cautionary advice

GarageBand does not crash for me so maybe it's a hit or miss & depends on your hardware.

What would be the best approach to give you the specs? is the cpu-z output sufficient or should I use a different tool?

Here is the cpu-z dump ... hope it helps

how could I solve my incompatibity? is there a kext/driver available or should I look for usb-alternatives that the OS could pick up?

I think you are asking why you aren't able to access an NTFS partition, am I right?

I don't think Leo4All installs this while the other two you mentioned have options for it. I would recommend searching the disks for the NTFS enabling package installer. This can be found somewhere in /System/Installation/Packages/

you need to enable the ability to "show invisible files" in finder. I recommend using MainMenu (available from Macupdate.com)as it provides this and a lot more.

Link(s) and/or specs off the manufacturers website, users manual, service and repair manual, CPU being used, Main (motherboard) Chipset, Graphics Chipset, LAN chipset, Wireless chipset, Audio chipset... Without knowing most of this stuff, help will be hit-or-miss. Laptops can be difficult to install OSx86 on - and their hardware is fairly specific and can't be easily swapped out if there is no OS X support.

Running both 10.5.8 and 10.6.4 on my stinking AMD/ATi machine...

when you boot into Leo4All, at the install menu, open up the disk utility, select the disk, and format it as Mac OS Extended (Journaled). this is the only type of partitioning it can read/find. i had the exact same problem, tell me if it works for you.
