I think you are asking why you aren't able to access an NTFS partition, am I right?
I don't think Leo4All installs this while the other two you mentioned have options for it. I would recommend searching the disks for the NTFS enabling package installer. This can be found somewhere in /System/Installation/Packages/
you need to enable the ability to "show invisible files" in finder. I recommend using MainMenu (available from Macupdate.com)as it provides this and a lot more.
