Hey Guys, just letting you know that I've tried a number of things as well and am getting the SMB issue. When I hit command K in finder it tells me my url is wrong even though it's typed right.
I'm using an NForce 4 board (Gigabyte GA-8n Pro SLI) I didn't have this issue with the first release, only with Rev 2. As soon as anyone figures this out, I would greatly appreciate it ![]() Chris |

I have an nForce4 board too (see first post in this thread). I just tried the following:
-turn off Simple File Sharing in Windows -create a new location in Network preferences Sadly neither of them helped ![]() Milkman, does your whisper to chuybregts mean you know something we don't? ![]() If anyone has any more info or even solutions then please post! Thanks, Mike |

No I'm trying to figure out how to mount using smbclient.
I tried to reinstall and just selected my wireless card for networking instead of the LAN driver. It didn't work. I also didn't select any other file systems and that didn't as well. Looks like an Nforce 4 problem. That's 3 of 3. |

Same problem here. In 10.5.2 Rev 1 the sharing worked with Windows and Apple machines. Now in 10.5.2 Rev 2 nothing works. I can see the computers but can't connect. Seems to be a major problem.
